We are Springfield Dyno LLC.  This page is designed to give you some insight to our background.

Last 20 years:  Heavily involved with the SCCA.  Been on the local board of directors for the last 17 years.  Active national driver with three trips to the podium at the RunOffs in FP class 2012 Road America, 2017 Indy yes Indy, and 2020 Road America.  Active Solo II driver.  Cars raced include:  Mazda Miatas, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 550 Maranello, Dodge Viper Competition Coupe, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Chevrolet Corvette FRC, E-Mod SBC 260ZX, Mazda RX-7 GTUs, BMW M5, Nissan 300ZX twin turbo, Ford Mustang.  They all weren’t mine but they sure were fun.

Designed and built a mobile dyno.  Yep, One big trailer with a dyno mounted in it.  It’s currently being used by a “big league” racing team on the east coast.

Raced motocross for about a dozen years.  Last 4 years in the 250 expert class.  I was into motocross more than the cars, go figure.  Injury forces change.

Primary work:  Manufacturing management position in the Springfield area.  Dyno helps to fund the racing!

Education:  Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Growing up:  I spent all my time on my motocross bikes and working for my dad at his Goodyear dealership.  I think I got the wrong type of favoritism…  I’ve mounted more tires than the Michelin man.
